Wacken Metal Battle - Iceland [eng]

Only one week and a half left to this huge event!!!

On the 6th of April 2013, in concert hall Eldborg at Harpa in Reykjavik, the most important event for the Icelandic metal fans, will take place. Wacken Metal Battle is the live band competition that sends the winning band to Wacken Open Air.

Six promising Icelandic bands compete for the spot to play Wacken Open Air in front of several thousand people, and participate in the international finals of Wacken Metal Battle where the main prize is a record contract with none other than Nuclear Blast Records.

This year as a special guest you will hear full set performed by one of the most popular Icelandic bands – Skalmöld, supported by the last year winner of the Battle Gone Postal, and an almost there band Trust The Lies.
