Have you already thought about spending your holidays on the island of Fire and Ice? If the answer is yes, but finding it difficult to find a good time between all those awesome European festivals, muzykaislandzka.pl would like to offer a good solution for you.

What would you say to admiring volcanic landscapes, majestic glaciers and wild geysers on your way to the biggest Icelandic music events? It does not really matter which of the summer months you choose for your festival holidays, because here in Iceland, there is always something happening.

Just in the month of June, there is a total mixture of music genres offered by Keflavik Music Festival, where you can see the Viking-metal band Skálmöld, rocking Sign, multi-genre Sólstafir or urban-electro Legend. (The line-up of the event is below).

July is a month of metal invasion in Neskaupstaður, a small town between the eastern fjords. For three days, the town will be demented by the darkest Icelandic hordes, such as the winners of this year’s edition of Wacken Metal Battle – Ophidian I, Angist, Blood Feud, Kontinuum, Momentum and Norn, moreover you will see obviously a solid Icelandic set: Skálmöld, Sólstafir and Legend.

In August, instead of Wacken, we will go up north to the second largest city in Iceland, Akureyri. This year, not only Icelandic rock will be performed by such bands like Dimma or Why Not Jack, but also former Iron Maiden vocalist Blaze Bayley will be performing his set.
